Finding child care can be one of the biggest challenges of being a parent. So congratulations -- you've just made it easier on yourself!

Our directory is the most comprehensive database of information on childcare in the D.C. area. Use the map to find providers in your area. The pink pins have our research on price, drop-off and pick-up time, whether they have a waitlist and if they offer part-time care. Many of these providers are not easily found online, and typically you can't get this information unless you call the provider directly.

Prices will vary by the age of your child. Care for infants is usually more expensive than toddlers. Our research gives you an idea of where a certain provider falls on the spectrum. We've found that around $200 a week is on the less expensive side for the area, while around $400 a week is on the more expensive side.
